Frequently asked questions

How do I find out which fonts a PDF uses?

Upload your PDF, then click "List fonts". The tool scans each page's resources and returns a text file listing every unique font (BaseFont) used in the document.

Why do some font names contain a prefix like "ABCDEF+"?

That prefix indicates a "subset" font: only the characters actually used were embedded in the PDF to reduce its size. The name after the "+" is the original font.

Is Lister les polices really free?

Yes, this tool is 100% free with no usage limits. No sign-up, no credit card and no watermark added to your documents.

Are my PDF files safe?

Yes. Your files are processed securely and automatically deleted from our servers after processing. Nobody has access to them.
