Arranging an N-up PDF is one of the simplest ways to save paper. By printing multiple pages per sheet PDF — two or four pages on a single sheet — you cut the number of sheets you use, spend less ink, and end up with documents that are easier to carry and file.
This layout helps well beyond printing, too. It lets you create compact handouts for a meeting, review a document at a glance on screen, or produce condensed reference sheets where the essentials fit on just a few pages. A presentation deck, a chapter, or a set of slides becomes far easier to skim and to hand out.
The idea is straightforward: each original page is scaled down and placed into a grid on the destination sheet while keeping its proportions. Nothing is stretched or cropped; the pages are simply resized and arranged side by side, in document order.
Depending on your goal, other tools extend this one. When a document is meant to be folded and stapled, booklet reorders the pages into a foldable booklet imposition. If the final file needs to stay light to share, compress reduces its size. And to gather several sources before applying the layout, merge combines them into a single PDF.
On privacy, no sign-up is required and your files are deleted automatically after processing: they are used only to produce your rearranged PDF, nothing more.
