To delete PDF pages is to drop the sheets you do not need and keep only what matters. The most common case is cleaning up a scan: removing a blank page, a divider sheet or an empty back side that pad the document for nothing. It is also the right step before sharing, when you have to remove pages from PDF that are confidential, an internal appendix or a draft that should never leave the file.
Beyond tidying up, deleting pages helps trim a document that runs too long: you cut off-topic passages, duplicates or pages that have gone stale to deliver a shorter, more readable version. Simply list the numbers or ranges to discard, and check the real page numbering, which does not always match the numbers printed on the pages.
The operation never changes your source file: it stays intact, and the tool builds a new PDF that is naturally lighter since it holds fewer pages. You keep both versions and can repeat the process as often as you need.
